Apparatus Housing Ceremony Saturday May 8th, 2010 at 11AM (Rain date: Saturday May 15th, 2010) The Apparatus Housing Ceremony will properly welcome into service our newest additions Tanker 68 and Field 68, as well as Special Service 68. The modern day equipment is motorized. Gone are the days of pushing horse drawn apparatus back into the station by hand, simply because the horse drawn apparatus didn't come with reverse. To uphold and honor the traditions of the past, Companies can choose to have an Apparatus Housing Ceremony to welcome their new trucks into service, and have visiting neighboring station uniformed officers gently push the truck into the garage whilst a qualified driver backs the vehicle into the bay. We have chosen as a company to perform this ceremony, and share this experience with our community, friends and families, and our neighboring stations will be invited to attend. Any company that would like to attend our Housing Event regardless of invitation is more than welcome to attend. Invitations through mail were limited due to budget constraints. Commemorative items will be available for purchase (and for order) at our event. Event Programs

Attention Drivers: When you see a vehicle approaching you with blue lights flashing, please yield the right of way to them. That car or truck contains a volunteer Firefighter, Fire Police Officer, or Emergency Medical Services Provider, en-route to a job that pays nothing except the satisfaction of serving our communities by helping to preserve life and limit the loss of property.
